These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Internia (the "Service"), operated by Internia ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Internia, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You represent that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Internia is a platform that enables users to share and access interview experiences related to internship applications. The Service allows users to: • Submit interview experiences and related information • Browse interview experiences shared by other users • Filter and search interview content • Create user profiles with educational background information We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without notice.

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation: To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information, including a valid email address and password, or by signing in with Google. 3.2 Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to: • Use a strong, unique password • Not share your account with others • Immediately notify us of any unauthorized access or security breach 3.3 Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, including for violations of these Terms.

4. User-Generated Content

4.1 Content Ownership: You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service ("User Content"), including interview experiences, comments, and profile information. 4.2 Content License: By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and display such content in connection with operating the Service. This license continues for as long as your content remains on the Service. If your account is deleted, we may retain anonymized versions of your content (with personal identifiers removed) for the benefit of the community. 4.3 Content Representations: You represent and warrant that: • You own or have the necessary rights to submit the User Content • Your User Content does not violate any third-party rights • Your User Content is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge • Your User Content complies with these Terms and applicable laws

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to: • Submit false, misleading, or defamatory information • Impersonate any person or entity • Submit content that infringes intellectual property rights • Post spam, advertisements, or promotional content without authorization • Submit content containing malware, viruses, or harmful code • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users • Violate any applicable laws or regulations • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service without permission • Submit content containing hate speech, discrimination, or explicit material • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers • Create multiple accounts to manipulate content or evade bans

6. Content Standards and Moderation

6.1 Content Review: We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor, review, edit, or remove any User Content at our sole discretion. 6.2 Reporting: Users may report content that violates these Terms. We will investigate reports and take appropriate action. 6.3 Removal: We may remove content that: • Violates these Terms • Is flagged by multiple users • Is determined to be false, defamatory, or harmful • Violates applicable laws or third-party rights 6.4 Platform Content: We may create, curate, or commission content on the Service for quality assurance, moderation testing, demonstration, or to support the user experience. Such content is held to the same standards as User Content and is not separately identified.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of User Content • Uninterrupted or error-free operation • Security or freedom from viruses USER CONTENT REPRESENTS THE OPINIONS AND EXPERIENCES OF INDIVIDUAL USERS AND DOES NOT REFLECT THE VIEWS OF INTERNIA. WE DO NOT VERIFY, ENDORSE, OR GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF USER CONTENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: 8.1 INTERNIA, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. 8.2 OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, OR $100 CAD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. 8.3 WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR: • User Content or conduct of other users • Decisions made based on information from the Service • Technical failures, data loss, or security breaches • Third-party actions or content • Any reliance on User Content for employment or business decisions

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Internia, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: • Your use of the Service • Your User Content • Your violation of these Terms • Your violation of any third-party rights • Your violation of applicable laws

10. Third-Party Content and Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for third-party content. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and the third party. We are not liable for any damages or losses related to third-party content or services.

11. Intellectual Property

11.1 Service Ownership: The Service, including its design, features, functionality, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Internia and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. 11.2 Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. 11.3 Restrictions: You may not: • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service • Reverse engineer or decompile any aspect of the Service • Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without permission • Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Copyright Infringement

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please contact us at internia.team@gmail.com with: • Description of the copyrighted work • URL or location of the infringing content • Your contact information • A statement of good faith belief that use is unauthorized We will investigate and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable copyright law, including Canada's Copyright Act (notice-and-notice regime) and, where applicable, the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

14. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

14.1 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. 14.2 Informal Resolution: Before pursuing any formal action, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting each other. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter within 30 days. 14.3 If informal resolution fails, either party may pursue remedies available under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from filing a complaint with a relevant consumer protection or regulatory authority.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

16. Termination and Account Deletion

16.1 By Us: We reserve the right to suspend, terminate, or delete any account and associated data at any time, at our sole discretion, including but not limited to: • Violation of these Terms • Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity • Extended periods of inactivity • Operational or administrative reasons 16.2 No Self-Service Deletion: Account deletion is not available through the Service. If you wish to close your account, contact us at internia.team@gmail.com. 16.3 Effect of Termination: Upon termination: • Your right to access the Service terminates immediately • We may delete your account data or anonymize your User Content at our discretion • Provisions that by their nature should survive will continue (including indemnification, disclaimers, and limitations of liability)

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

18. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by us.

19. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our written consent. We may assign these Terms to any affiliate or successor without restriction.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Internia regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Internia does not verify content accuracy and is not liable for decisions made based on information from the Service.
