Bruce Power Interview Experiences

10 min phone screening with HR about education and a couple behavioral questions. Then about 3 weeks later a 30 min department round with two members of the team. First round was easy, second had some technical questions about mechanical systems and a lot of safety culture. Security clearance started after offer.

Didn't have enough nuclear background for the civil team. Technical interview didn't go well after the HR call

Interviewed in August of 2025, the same month I was graduating. 1 round, interview with head of Project Management Center and head of Project Management Reporting. Just asked about previous work experience, coding experience, etc. Very easy overall.

Nothing but behavioral in the department interview, safety culture questions dominated. No technical questions on electrical systems at all. HR screening first then the department interview 3 weeks later. They went with someone with more relevant background.

Got offered a site tour after the offer, pretty cool. Technical interview was with two senior engineers. Piping and stress analysis, some thermodynamics, then a behavioral about communicating a technical recommendation to a non engineer.
