Snowflake Interview Experiences

The interviewer seemed surprised I hadn't prepped distributed systems more lol. Hacker rank was 2 questions. SQL assessment had Snowflake specific syntax for streaming data, more complex than expected. Superday had 4 sessions but couldn't answer the system design on distributed query optimization well enough.

System design, coding on a shared doc, behavioral and a PM round.

Passed HackerRank then had a SQL assessment they require for all engineers regardless of role. Superday was four 45 min sessions: coding, system design on distributed query execution, behavioral and a product sense conversation. Very selective but moved fast once past the assessments.
