TC Energy Interview Experiences

Decent amount of technical depth for a co-op role. Interview with an engineering lead covered geotechnical and foundation design and a scenario about erosion mitigation near a pipeline corridor. Also STAR behavioral on handling design changes in the field. HR call before that was quick.

Interviewers were patient when I needed time to think appreciated that. Got a call about a week after applying, 30 minutes with the team lead, behavioral questions about failure and team conflict.

Process went virtual. Team lead and another person, behavioral the whole way. Conflict resolution, when you had to adapt quickly. Friendly process but I got rejected and the return offer rate for interns there is reportedly low.
