Goldman Sachs Interview Experiences

Did a hireVue with like 7 questions with 30 second prep each and the timer really pressures you. Superday was four interviews in a row and by the third one it gets exhausting. One of the MDs wanted to know about recent treasury yield movements. Started at 8am went past noon couldnt have been more tired afterwards

hirevue right after applying had to do it same day, phone screen with VP was mostly behavioral then superday had three easy coding questions like reverse a string and Fibonacci also two behavioral.

Prepped hard for Hirevue 7 behavioral questions and it paid off, superday was three interviews two behavioral about leadership and failure and one about equity market views. Pitched consumer staples stock and they pushed back hard on valuation but I defended it, took a PE offer.

Offer 5 days later. Hirevue then superday, three back to back interviews. Binary search and dynamic programmg

Know your DCF!!! HireVue then superday with associates and VPs. Last interviewer poked holes in everything i said lost all confidence

Did hireVue was 7 questions, 30 sec prep each, timer pressure still gets you even when you know it's coming. Superday was five interviews same day, questions about why Goldman and what I read to stay current on markets. One covered a valuation problem and I walked through an LBO well, but by interview four the MD threw a capital structure brainteaser I hadn't seen before and didn't have a solid answer for it.

Never reached superday. HackerRank had two problems, phone screen covered probability, then the technical round was a graph problem.
