PwC Interview Experiences

Recruiter screen was like 15 min, then they sent an online assessment with some accounting and Excel based stuff. Behavioral round after that was mostly about past projects and how I handle working with people who have different work styles. They wanted to know what I know about PwC's service lines which I had researched so that went well.

Assessment was pattern matching and situational stuff, 1 on 1 was behavioral CAR format and panel round was a lot but manageable.

The case was about IT consolidation, way less quant than I expected. Video interview after the OA. Rejected in 3 weeks.

Gave me an Excel based case study with financial statements and had to do some data analysis. The behavioral round was all STAR format, had to talk about a time I dealt with a difficult team situation and why I wanted to go into deals advisory. Prep your deal experience stories and know basic accounting and you'll be fine.

Games, Hirevue then 15 min live interview. Way too short. d

Games assessment first, then Hirevue, then two final interviews with a partner and senior manager. Partner asked about influencing without authority. they offered me the position. but declined for better culture elsewhere.

The case was about a healthcare org consolidating databases after a merger. Had to think through data quality and migration priorities. Behavioral part was first but the case was the real test. They kept pushing on how I'd get teams to agree on standards. No feedback after rejection
