TD Interview Experiences

Recruiter screen was laid back then two 45 min coding rounds same day, first was a sliding window problem that I'd done a variation of before so it went smoothly. second was graph BFS which took me longer but I got it working, I made sure to talk through my approach the whole time which the interviewers seemed to really appreciate.

Screening call last week and then the interview with a team lead yesterday, he asked about SQL and if I've used Jira before and also a bunch of STAR questions about managing projects and working with people who disagree with you

Was surprised how quick the whole process was, applied on LinkedIn and they got back to me 2 days after for an interview. One thing I found weird was there were 4 interviewers kinda seemed like overkill and amde me more nervous for no reason lol but simple 'walk me through your resume' then gave me times to ask questions.

Virtual coding was fine, one easy string reversal one medium array problem. Technical round was OOPs questions like inheritance vs composition and some DBMS normalization. HR was literally just why TD and are you ok with the hybrid schedule.

First round pre recorded screening then one hiring manager interview in person. manager was very nice but I couldn't answer some of the harder questions about loan applications.

First they make you do a 160 question personality assessment before the first call which takes forever. HR screen after that then a panel with a risk manager and someone from a business line, questions on regulatory knowledge and a credit event scenario.

Pretty relaxed imo. Recruiter reached out, screen then a marketing call asking about campaigns and measuring effectiveness.

Meh process , long interview. Very boring overview of the role and was ready to leave at the end of call.

I had Azure experience not AWS and I think that hurt me. OA had networking and cloud questions plus a short coding component. Technical interview covered AWS services, VPC architecture and IAM.

The 160 question personality test they make you do before anything else even happens is wild, then had an HR chat and an interview with a floor manager and credit manager together. Questions about emerging trends in banking and whether I see compliance as a long term career, felt like they were testing if I'd stick around

Two rounds, screening call, questions on my resume and why TD then a longer interview with a senior person about Agile and Jira they liked that I had used Confluence before, straightforward overall.
