Super relaxed one 30 min call with someone from the team who wanted to know about past experiences they just told me about the team culture and asked which work experience was my favourite

30 min with a VP and associate, brought up recent Scotiabank news and I mentioned their expansion into US wealth management then behavioral about working under pressure.

Twwo coding questions, one medium array problem and one harder one involving trees. the onsite had a couple rounds, first was behavioral focused heavily on their Leadership principles especially customer obsession and ownership, had to prep STAR stories for all of them. second round was more technical with a system design question about building a scalable service. they also had me write a one pager about a product improvement idea

Got the offer but had already accepted somewhere else by the time it came through. Case was about a retailer expanding into a new market, fit interview before that

Superday was three zooms in a row and the last one was all technical, DCF walkthrough and had me pitch a stock. First two were pretty chill though mostly why RBC why capital markets type stuff. And a lot of questions about Canadian current events

Superday was six interviews consecutive at their Bay Street office starting around 8am. First two were fit focused then the middle ones went technical, WACC calculation and enterprise value bridges. Fifth interview was with an MD who wanted a stock pitch in about 10 minutes with no prep time and I gave him something on a CPG company he seemed lukewarm about. Sixth one was basically a formality.
